Article Title:
Major Management Coping Strategies in Accessing Profit among Micro Entrepreneurs in Goma, DR Congo

Abstract:
This study was to find out the management coping strategies in accessing profit among micro entrepreneurs in chronic disaster in Goma. On the strategies to reduce exploitation expenses, more than a third reduces loss of the material of production in carrying alone some business work. About the strategies to manage stock of goods, six out of ten of respondents had regulated supplied goods from customers? interest by selling on time. On the strategies of selling at the end of the stock, a third of respondents asked the customers to wait a moment while they took the product from their colleagues? shop at a low price using money from the buyer and sold it at usual price. About the strategies to maintain the shop active, a third of respondents sold different goods to targeted customers. On the strategies of identification of right period to sell goods, half of respondents sold goods when people wanted them; end of year to prepare for festivity, starting of schooling year and in preparation of religious or public holiday. About the strategies to stimulate success of the activities, almost half of respondents had used promotion price to sell old stock of goods. On the strategies of avoiding losses when administrating a shop, four out of ten respondents avoided selling on credit. About the strategies of avoiding loosing when working for other people, two out of ten consultants and casual laborers asked for partial payment at different stage of the work: when starting, in the middle and at the end.
